Kirby finally got his dream of expanding the house for his kids. He spent two years remodeling the house while the family stayed with Alycia and her husband. He made it one floor, with three bathrooms and one bedroom for every single child. Their walls were decorated in each kid’s favorite color, and the house was beautiful.

Jacob’s bedroom was in the color of Sea Foam, and this picture was taken before he was a gifted a painting easel.

Brandon’s room was done in yellow, and since he’s athletic, his skilling is done outside.

Mercy’s room was done in orange, and Mercy never showed a particular interest in one thing. One day, she’d work out, and the next she’d nap and watch T.V. all day. It just depended on her mood and who was doing what.

Vivienne’s favorite color was blue and all of her free time was spent at the painting easel, so it was moved into her room.

Jame’s room was done in Spiceberry, and it had it’s own little bathroom. James loved writing, and so the laptop was moved into his bedroom. Though, Halley discovered that when James was on the computer, there wasn’t room to get past him and the bed and into the bathroom. The bed has been flipped against the door to the left and the bed table has been moved to the living room.
Every child loved their bedroom, and Kirby wasn’t done yet. He planned on eventually getting them all a desk and a dresser for their rooms, as soon as they aged out of being children and more into teenagers. He wanted the kids to want to bring their friends to the house. They definitely did now. Especially with the backyard.

Kirby also made a gym inside the house because the kids were always blasting the radio in the living room of the old house to work out. (Since this picture, a weight lift and a small T.v. have been added.) The gym came complete with its own bathroom.

The family was still elated. James was hoping to find a girlfriend, because he, like his dad, loves having someone to spoil. He was extremely aware of his good looks with help from the 3 phone calls a day from different girls. He was worried for his younger siblings who would become teenagers soon, though, and often gave Brandon and Jacob lectures.
“Boys.. you’ll have girls calling you and calling you. They’re going to be HOT girls. But don’t demoralize yourself for them. You’ll want to..” James warned.
“GIRLS WILL CALL ME? OHGOD. HOT GIRLS CALLING ME? I CAN’T WAIT TO BE A TEEN!” 12 year old Jacob squealed.
“Grow up, Jacob. No one’s going to call you willingly.” Brandon said seriously. He was intense and intelligent and withdrawn. He was smarter than 99% of the population, and he knew not to get involved with girls because it was rare that love actually happened. It was usually lust or infatuation, which Brandon knew acted like love. He knew real love didn’t end, though. He still didn’t completely believe his dad or his mom were completely in love, but he loved his dad. He’d never speak the words aloud, but he admired his dad. He thought his mom was silly and girly, and he often gave her attitude. Brandon was worried for Viv and Merce, who were already trying to put makeup on and were always blabbering away on their cell phones. Mostly Mercy, though. Vivienne he respected, because she was smart as he was, and she spent her time painting.
“Brandon. That was unnecessary,” James scolded.
“You know it’s true, James. I have to HOPE girls won’t call me, but Jacob has to hope they will. You two will be lucky if you get real love, anyway,” Brandon stated.
“JAMES SAID. Hot girls WILL call me, Brandon. You’re just jealous. No girl wants to call a downer like you.”
“BOYS. Just be careful.” James placed the last plate in the dishwasher and went to go to his homework as Brandon headed to bed. Jacob’s self esteem had taken a hit today; an irreparable one.
A week later, the four children decided that celebrating their teen birthdays with their dad would be fun.

Mercy had grown into a beautiful young woman. ((She’s the only sim I’ve ever seen look GOOD with that hair.)) She decided to cut her hair and stay in her pajamas all day.

Vivienne grew to be pretty, too, and let her hair out of the pony tail and cut it a bit. She also added her favorite color to her “dull mousy hair” as she called it.

Brandon grew his hair out and just stuck a hat over it. His goal was to keep girls away.

Jacob just put some gel in his hair and BAM. Both of the artistic kids (Jake and Viv) did something different with their hair, while the other two just cut it or didn’t. Having five teenagers in the house was a mess. There were always friends over and Halley and Kirby always had to make two batches of dinner. Halley was aware that she was going to have to pick an heir because she was getting older and so were her kids. Who would she choose?
James her handsome first born who had the ladies throwing themselves at him? The boy who was always trying to help and had more empathy than any soul she’s known? James was a bit of pushover, and Halley feared him being used for his looks.
Maybe it’ll be Brandon, her second born son. The boy who’s serious and not willing to settle down unless he knows it’s right. The intelligent wise guy who could be caught cracking jokes under his breath and the boy who can stand few beings. Will Brandon ever find love?
It could be Jacob, her goofy, friendly third born. Mercy’s best friend and someone who’s more like a twin to her than Vivienne is or than Brandon is. The sweetest guy she knows. Will Jacob leave his insecurities behind and get a girl?
Halley might choose Vivienne, her spunky fourth born. The lover of arts and the color blue, the only girl Brandon respects. But will Viv ever emerge from her room long enough to establish the relationship required to continue the legacy?
Or maybe it’ll be her flirty Mercy. Mercy, the silly, indecisive lover of everyone and everything. Mercy was outgoing and bright and had a strong relationship with Jacob, and would have no problem finding a husband.. or six. Mercy was girly and squeal-y, and looked forward to having a few boyfriends. But could she settle down and abandon her youth for her kids in the future?

Kay, guys! I’m too lazy to post an actual poll, so leave comments as to who you want to be heir/heiress. Feel free to explain why!
James gets my vote, I’ve always liked him, though I do have a soft spot for cheeky Brendan…

Aww poor Jacob! Brandon seems kind of mean.
The house looks fantastic – I love Viv’s room the most.
I LOVE the pixie haircut that Mercy has – you really have never liked it before? It’s pretty much one of my faves.
My vote goes to James – he’s the oldest, he’s handsome, and he seems super super nice.

Brandon’s not mean – he’s realistic, and the world isn’t a “nice” place. xD
No, i’m not really a fan of the hair cut. It looks good on her though, but i haven’t seen another sim where i’m like “OHWOW!” xD
